Race Schedule:

While for the most part the weather seems cloudy, there might be a chance of heavy rain on Sunday evening. That having said, I’ve decided to alter the race schedule to make sure we have enough time to let everyone put in quality times on the Global Qualifier leaderboard. Please read carefully.

Saturday:

1. Myself and the crew will setup the track early in the morning. Once completed I will run the qualifying race for the crew members to put in their packs.
2. Maximum of 5 packs for Saturday.
3. If you would like to volunteer and help me out on Saturday you are most welcome and can put in some early packs.
4. I should be done with the qualifying by 2p.m.
5. Once qualifying is done, if a crew member is still there, you may practice. Maximum 4 p.m.
6. Tables and chairs and electricity may not be ready on Saturday.

Sunday:

1. When you arrive at the field register with us first and sign a waiver form. Collect your tshirt & welcome prop.
2. I will open the track at 8:30 a.m. to experienced pilots first.
3. There will be no practice runs on Sunday.
4. At 9:30 a.m. we stop for safety briefing to the rest of the pilots. Track walk if necessary.
5. We will run qualifying until approximately 3:30 p.m. (depending on the weather). No break unless track maintenance.
6. We will only do Double Elimination top 16 pilots.
7. No sports class.
8. After race is over, everyone except the champion will help me tear down the gates and pack everything.
9. After that, we give out prizes. We have lots of prizes for almost everyone. I mean a lot.

Important race information to take note:

1. Please configure your channel and callsign on OSD.
2. Your quad must be able to change channels on demand. If you have a backpack issue or VTX issue, I will not help change your seat. Unless I say so.
3. I will do random fail safe inspections. If you fail this test, you will be disqualified altogether.
4. You will use the ZippyQ system to put yourself in the queue. Please study how to use it or ask any of our friendly pilots.
5. If you are in the queue and you are not prepared, you will loose that pack. I will give you the pack back at my discretion.
6. There will be no official announcement of your turn. Please keep track of the round. If its your turn and you are not on deck, you will loose your pack.
7. I will return the pack back to you only if you have a video disadvantage or technical mishap after arming. Fully my discretion.

Other Important race information to take note:

1. Venue is called Bukit Expo UPM. You may find it on Google Maps easily.
2. However the campus second and third gates are closed on weekend. Set your GPS to the main gate.

3. This time, we only have free drinks and light snacks. Heavy lunch is not provided. Please arrange your own lunch.
4. Tables and chairs and shelter is provided this time.
5. Electricity is also provided, however, it’s an old building. I recommend if you have a power pack, bring your own otherwise you may need to share the load.
6. Rubbish must all go into the provided rubbish bags. We will inspect all rubbish before prize giving. Every rubbish on the ground = less prize given out.

We’re proud to present the DFS UGKL MultiGP Global Qualifier 2026, happening this April at Bukit Expo. Whether this is your first time stepping into a GQ or you’re returning to chase a stronger spot on the global leaderboard, this event is open to pilots of all levels. All pilots are required to have a MultiGP Account. Head over to multigp.com and create an account. Take note of the pilot name and MultiGP ID which will be used for registration and ZippyQ on race day.

Download the MultiGP mobile app on Google Appstore and Apple play store. All pilots are encouraged to install the Race Sync app to receive notifications on when your turn is coming up

This year we are partnering up with UPM holdings who have generously offered their location for our race. The venue is deep inside Universiti Putra Malaysia, a rather huge but beautiful agricultural campus in Serdang, Selangor. Getting in there will be tricky so stay tuned on exact directions. Grab rides are available but best to ride with a friend. The nearest hotel would be around the are of IOI Putrajaya with lots of food and shopping. Other suitable hotels would be in the area of Puchong. This venue is about at 45 minutes to an hour away from KLCC or 20 minutes away from Cyberjaya. There are toilets available and power supply will be via a generator. Tents, tables and chairs will be provided for participating pilots.

The weather in Malaysia is a little tricky. It will be very hot during the day and might rain in the evening. Please come prepared with your own personal items such as umbrella, sun screen and bug spray.

Ok, so UPM is just super huge. Getting there on weekends is tricky because the university closes some of the gates. It’s important to inform you the Grab driver / taxi to use the main entrance by the hockey stadium. Please refer to the 2 links below and share them with your ride.

This year we will be using a ticketing system. To register you are required to purchase a ticket. On registration day, just show your RaceSync QR code or your ticket and collect your welcome swag and water bottle. This time is a 1 day race and we will make sure everyone gets a good chance at putting in their packs.
